The Panther House project is located between Grays Inn Road and Mount Pleasant in Camden, London. The site is made up of three distinct parts, Panther House, the Tram-shed and Grays Inn Rd.
 
Planning permission for this exciting scheme has now been granted via Camden’s first ever ‘Virtual’ Committee and will provide an interesting mix of modern construction and sympathetic refurbishment to bring this semi-derelict site back to life.
 
The existing Grays Inn Road building will be replaced with an innovative new development of the highest architectural quality. An unusual planted façade and a mixture of concrete and metal will create a striking visual proposition.
 
The former Tram-shed accessed via Brain Yard will be fully refurbished to provide space of great volume and interest. Finally, the brick built buildings of Panther House will be carefully restored and extended with modern roof top additions designed to create the impression that they are floating above the old solid workhouses.
 
The Panther house site has now been successfully sold with the benefit of this planning consent.
